Normandy Tour Prices: What Each Fare Buys, from Half Days to Private Cars

Normandy tours run from about a hundred dollars to nearly a thousand, and the spread is not random. It comes from three things: where the day starts, whether the fare pays for a museum or lunch, and whether you share the vehicle. This guide takes each band in turn, then the extras and the refund windows, so you can compare Normandy ticket prices like with like. The sites themselves, the beaches, the Rangers' cliff and the cemetery, cost nothing.

What does a Normandy tour cost?

The cheapest fare is the shore day from Le Havre at $103, with a packed lunch. The dearest per person is the private VIP day from Paris at $928, and the dearest fare of all is the private car at $986, which covers a whole group of up to seven. Between them, the price follows the length of the day and who else is aboard.

Every fare here is quoted per person unless it says otherwise, and some ask for two travellers at least. The booking page shows the price for your date before you pay.

What does a half day from Bayeux cost?

$107 to $136 a person. The afternoon half day at $107 collects you from selected Bayeux hotels, carries eight and refunds up to six days ahead. The four-hour day from Place du Québec at $136 carries up to nineteen, takes children from 4 and refunds up to 24 hours ahead. Both cover Omaha Beach, the Rangers' cliff and the cemetery.

The e-bike ride is a half day too, at $219 a person for two or more, and it is private to your party.

What does a full day from Bayeux cost?

$154 to $216 a person. The cheapest, at $154, spends two hours at Sainte-Mère-Église with a stop at the Airborne Museum. The nine-hour day at $162 stops at the Utah Beach Museum. The dearest, at $216, gives you the most time at the sites, about six and a half hours, but lists entrance fees as extra. The museum stops on the cheaper days sit on their itineraries without the entry named in the fare, so ask before you book.

A Mont day from Bayeux costs $178 to $185, with the abbey ticket paid.

What does a day from Paris cost?

It depends on the vehicle. The coach days cost $138 to $141 and are the cheapest way to see the beaches from Paris, with the Utah Beach Museum and lunch in the fare. The minivans of eight cost $273 to $330. The train day costs $480, because the fare includes your rail tickets to Bayeux and back. The coach day to the Mont costs $135.

What does a private tour cost?

Private fares run from $219 a person on the e-bikes to $928 a person on the VIP day from Paris. The private Bayeux days cost $404 to $428 a person, and the private day from Paris that adds the Mont costs $667 a person for two or more. The private car is the exception: $986 for the whole car. Which fares include a museum ticket?

The coach days from Paris include the Utah Beach Museum. The minivans from avenue de Wagram include the Overlord Museum. The Canadian day includes the entrance fees at the Juno Beach Centre. The Caen afternoon includes the Mémorial de Caen, and the private Paris Mont day includes the Colleville museum and the abbey. Most Bayeux days include no museum at all.

On their own, the museums charge an adult in 2026: €10 at Utah Beach, €9.90 at Colleville (€10.90 in 2027), €11.50 at the Airborne Museum, €9 at Courseulles and €20.80 at the Mémorial. A fare that includes one saves you that figure; a fare that only stops at one does not.

Which fares include lunch?

Only two kinds. The coach days from Paris serve a two-course lunch with a glass of Norman cider, and the Le Havre shore days bring a packed lunch. On every other day you buy your own; the nine-hour day from Bayeux stops where you can, and the Wagram minivans allow an hour or more for it. No Mont day includes lunch.

Is the abbey ticket in the fare?

On every Mont day, yes. On its own the abbey costs €13 from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, and €16 in the April to September season. Under-18s go in free with their family, as do EU citizens and residents aged 18 to 25, so a tour fare does not save a family the children's tickets. How do the refund windows differ?

By operator, not by price. Most fares refund in full up to 24 hours ahead. The Caen afternoon refunds up to 48 hours ahead. One Bayeux operator refunds only up to six days ahead, then nothing: that covers its afternoon half day, its US battlefields day, its Mont days and its private minivan. The train day from Paris is a final sale, with no refund and no changes. Each card shows its own terms.

Per person or per group: how do you compare?

Divide the group fare by your party. The private car for up to seven costs $493 each for two, $246 each for four and $140 each for seven. The private Bayeux minivan costs $404 a person, whatever your number. So for two the minivan costs less; from three people up, the car does.

What do the beaches and the Mont cost together?

Two ways, at very different prices. From a base in Bayeux, a full beach day and a Mont day come to $340 a person for the two, plus a hotel night. From Paris, the private day that fits both into fourteen and a half hours costs $667 a person, for two or more, with the Colleville museum and the abbey paid. What do tips and extras add?

Tips are left out of almost every fare, so budget for one in euros, as you would at home. The private Bayeux days also leave out the guide's lunch, and the private minivan lists museum fees as extra. On the Paris coach days, drinks beyond the glass of cider at lunch are yours to pay. None of these is large, but they add up across a three-day trip.

Where is the value?

If you have one day and are staying in Paris, the coach day at $141 is the cheapest seat with the most in the fare. If you can stay a night, a Bayeux full day at $154 to $216 costs little more and gives you the time at the sites without the road. For a group of seven, the private car comes to $140 each, less than any shared full day from Bayeux. The coach day with lunch and the Normandy tours from Bayeux are the two to compare first.
